Federal Casualty Assistance Program and Critical Incident Stress Management Support
USDA Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, DOI Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Park Services, and The Bureau of Land Management
Chiron personnel have been providing training, critical incident response, and consultation for Federal agencies since 2003. Our 2022 projects include ICISF courses, Hospital and Family Liaison Trainings, “You Will Not Stand Alone” presentations (significant injury and death response support), pre-fire season resilience workshops, and multiple critical incident support responses including trauma mental health service related to: line of duty deaths, completed suicides, on and off duty accidents, and other traumatic losses experienced by federal employees, contractors, and their loved ones.
Additionally in the fall of 2022, Chiron will be hosting a 7-day retreat for the passionately dedicated managers of the national Casualty Assistance Programs (CAPs). These tireless, unsung heroes coordinate behind the scenes support to hundreds of incidents across the nation during the most difficult of times, and we feel honored and blessed to have the opportunity to facilitate a week of respite, reflection, rejuvenation, fellowship, and FUN at the Ranch.
