We are proud members of the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association's Global Professional Network (www.EAGALA.org) of more than 4,500 Mental Health Professionals and Equine Specialists in over 50 countries. EAGALA professionals are trained and credentialed to offer The EAGALA Model exclusively to their clients, an innovative, ethical, evidence-based set of best practices that builds on the human/horse connection to help people learn more about themselves and to incorporate that learning to change their lives.
We work in teams consisting at minimum of the horse(s), a horse-behavior specialist, and a human-behavior specialist/mental health professional. We may also incorporate subject matter experts based on the needs of the participants.
All activities are on the ground (no riding the horses), and we follow EAGALA's comprehensive code of ethics regarding professional conduct as well as participant and equine safety. This experiential approach is founded on the belief that both the humans and the equines will find their own intuitive solutions related to their interactions, and that our equine partners are the greatest facilitators of unlimited opportunities for personal and professional development.
